AFRICAN BUSINESSES AND PROFESSIONALS CAN REACH NEW HEIGHTS WITH GLOBAL RECOGNIZED CLOUD TRAINING

AFRICAN BUSINESSES AND PROFESSIONALS CAN REACH NEW HEIGHTS WITH GLOBAL RECOGNIZED CLOUD TRAINING

Palo Alto, CA / Capetown, South Africa, 9 December 2016 – Mariana Carroll Consulting has partnered with the U.S. based Cloud Credential Council (CCC) to deliver the recognized portfolio of cloud certifications in South Africa. Dr. Mariana Carroll, founder and owner of specialist technology advisory and training firm, Mariana Carroll Consulting (MCC), understands the skills gap when it comes to emerging technologies. Her experience as an academic and advisor to both multinational enterprises and small – medium size businesses has put her in touch with the aspiring professionals and companies across (continental / South) Africa. The missing link? A shared set of best practices to reskill these aspiring professionals and ready their organizations to utilize cloud technologies effectively.

Africa’s professionals are ready to differentiate themselves and add that competitive edge to their careers. On the other end, businesses are struggling to fill gaps in cloud competence so as to leverage the benefits of cloud computing. The MCC team is passionate about equipping and empowering professionals through fit-for-purpose, practical training and globally accepted certifications to support in this pressing need.

Cloud computing is fast becoming the driver for efficiency, productivity and differentiation. The fast paced growth and adoption of emerging technologies is leaving a gap when it comes to cloud computing skills and capabilities. The demand for cloud skills and capabilities is growing daily, but the means to bridge this gap is lagging. To leverage the power of cloud-solutions and services, we need professionals with the right level of skills in business and technology. The partnership between MCC and the CCC offers a comprehensive solution to this problem through a broad, role-based, program of training and certification for the critical roles in cloud adoption. Asked about the partnership, “Our aim is simple – we want to be your value-adding partner” says Dr. Carroll.

To ensure best in class training, MCC offer web-linked, hybrid virtual and classroom training. Course participants situated in Johannesburg will be led by world-class instructors situated around the globe and supported by subject matter experts in the classroom to facilitate practical exercises and discussion. The courses are already being offered, available via the MCC website. Dr. Carroll will also be speaking at a webinar in cooperation with the CCC on Dec. 13, 2016 – register online to get an understanding of the African Cloud Skills Gap.
